Dr. Lawrence Musanje

	Dr. Lawrence Musanje

Born and raised in Uganda, Dr. Lawrence Musanje is truly an international academic, dentist, and citizen. Following his studies at the Wuhan University in China where he received his first Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS), Dr. Musanje continued his education earning a PhD in dental filling materials from the University of Hong Kong. He engaged in 5 years of research and teaching as a post-doctoral fellow at Oregon Health and Science University. His education continued at The University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine where he was awarded another DDS degree. Dr. Lawrence, as his young patients call him, has been well prepared to care for children here in Colorado. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children (Angelica, age 6 and Judith, age 10) and together they enjoy tennis, jogging and hiking.

Dr. Musanje's gentle nature and years of dental training create a welcoming environment for first time patients as well as regular visitors here in the office. He knows that each child is unique and takes the time working with them to overcome dental anxiety or dental fear.

Jamarian Evans - Office Manager

	Jamarian Evans - Office Manager

Jamarian is originally from Clarksdale MS, but has lived in Colorado most of her life. She has been in dentistry for 7 years and loves working with kids because they are fun, energetic, and no two days are the same in a pediatric dental office.She shares Dr. Lawrence's passion for providing kids with quality dental care that gives them confidence and self esteem. At the end of the day, that's what it is all about...the children.

In her spare time she loves to bake, especially cupcakes(yummy!), do party planning, and most importantly spend time with her children, family, and friends. She and her husband have been together since high school, and together they have 3 beautiful children...a 7 year old, a 3 year old, and an adorable one year old.

Nichole Mastervich - Assistant Office Manager

	Nichole Mastervich - Assitant Office Manager

Nichole was born and raised in Michigan where she began her dental career in 2005. Nichole joined the dental field with excellent customer service skills learned from prior experience in the banking industry. She has been intrigued with the dental field since she was a child and has, over the years, worked in many different areas of dentistry. Nichole takes pride in helping patients in any way she can and loves being involved in community events to educate patients about their oral health. She and her husband recently moved to Colorado due to their love of the mountains. They brought along their adorable cat Cosmo who seems to be enjoying Colorado just as much as they do! Nichole enthusiastically joins our team to work with children and loves the fun and energy they bring to the office. On her days off, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and exploring all this beautiful state has to offer!

Jennifer Luling - Financial Coordinator

	Jennifer Luling - Financial Coordinator

Although Jennifer has only been in the dental field for nine months, she has extensive customer service experience from her work as a tax preparer and bank teller. Jennifer loves working at Shining Stars Kids Dentistry because the kids remind her of her own childhood in China. She was very frightened of the dentist as a child, and thus has a desire to make children comfortable and relaxed when they come to visit our office. She wants them to see that going to the dentist can be fun! Jennifer has a wonderful husband, 2 beautiful daughters and a golden retriever named Jonas. In her spare time she enjoys swimming and tennis and she is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.

Krystal Medina - Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

	Krystal Medina - Dental Assistant

Kyrstal originally came to our office from the Emily Griffith Technical College with full training as a Certified Dental Assistant. She has since furthered her education, and is now an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, even more capable of helping Dr. Musanje treat our young patients. She loves working with kids, especially helping to educate the littlest patients. Krystal feels that every day in our office makes her feel good, because it provides a new opportunity to improve children's oral health and ease their fears about going to the dentist. She and her husband, Sam, have an active, happy 3 year old daughter and she loves spending time with her family, going camping, swimming, bike riding and Bar-B-Que.

Christian Torres - Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

Chris was born and raised in Colorado and really enjoys living here. In his spare time he stays physically active by playing sports and working out. He also enjoys going to Denver Nugget games. He's been in dentistry for over 2 years, and likes working with kids because they are all so unique and fun to be around.
